＜日本語/English＞ 野球部が関西学生女子野球連盟春季リーグで優勝しました

Mukogawa Women’s University baseball team won the University Women’s Baseball Kansai League.

野球部が5月、令和4年度関西学生女子野球連盟春季リーグで優勝しました。

春季リーグは武庫川女子大学と大阪体育大学、関西大学、園田学園女子大学の４チームによるリーグ戦で争われます。5月22日に住吉公園野球場で行われた春季リーグ3日目、武庫川女子大学は関西大学に15対０のコールドゲームで勝利、大阪体育大学にも１対０で勝ち、通算５勝を挙げて6月12日の最終戦を待たずに優勝を決めました。野球部の1年、前中志穂さんは「1人1人が野球に対して真剣に向き合う姿にとても魅力を感じています。本当にこのチームの一員になれて良かったです。このチームで日本一になれるようこれからも頑張ります」と話しています。

 

武庫川女子大学野球部は2019年に全日本大学女子野球選手権大会で初優勝。その後、コロナ禍で2年間、大会が中止となっていましたが、今年は3年ぶりの大会開催が予定されており、武庫川女子大学の2度目の日本一に期待がかかります。

 

The university baseball team won the championship again since winning it for the first time back in 2019. With the pandemic restricting the games during the 2 year period, the tournaments were cancelled for two years in a row. The expectations were rising for the MWU team for another chance of victory. The team won in the games against Kansai University and Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences and cleared of all the points before the finalizing game on June 12^th.
