＜日本語/English＞セミナー「ムコジョから政治家へ～あなたも議員を目指しませんか？～」が開催されました。

共通教育部の栗山雅史客員教授による「ムコジョから政治家へ～あなたも議員を目指しませんか？～」というセミナーが5月18日、中央キャンパス日下記念マルチメディア館のキャリアセンターで開催されました。

今年度から共通教育部に着任した栗山客員教授は、政治家を志し28歳で西宮市議会議員に初当選。西宮市議会議員２期、兵庫県議会議員３期を勤めた経験から、政界での女性を取り巻く現状など実体験を踏まえて話しました。女性の政治家、議員、首長が増え、女性ならではの視点が政治に活かせること、志があれば誰でも政治家になれることなどの話に、参加した学生は聞き入っていました。

栗山客員教授は「私の話を契機に、少しでも多くの学生が政治に興味を持ってくれたら嬉しい」と感想を語りました。共通教育部は、今後も同様のセミナーを開催する予定です。

 

Visiting Professor Masashi Kuriyama of the School of General Education held a seminar entitled "From Mukojo to Politician - Would you like to become a member of the Diet? ～was held on May 18 at the Career Center in the Kusaka Memorial Multimedia on the Main Campus.

 

Visiting Professor Kuriyama, who joined the Faculty of General Education this year, aspired to become a politician and was first elected as a Nishinomiya City Council member at the age of 28. Having served two terms as a member of the Nishinomiya City Council and three terms as a member of the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly, he spoke about the current situation surrounding women in politics, based on his own experiences. The number of female politicians, councilors, and chief executives is increasing, and the students listened attentively to his talk about how women's unique perspectives can be utilized in politics and how anyone can become a politician if they have the will to do so.

 

Visiting Professor Kuriyama commented, "I hope that my talk will spark an interest in politics in as many students as possible.”

 

The Department of General Education plans to hold similar seminars in the future.
