天皇賜盃第92回日本学生陸上競技対校選手権大会で船田茜理さんが三段跳で２連覇、陸上競技部としても総合で40年ぶりに入賞を果たしました。

9月14～17日に埼玉県の熊谷スポーツ文化公園陸上競技場で開催された、「天皇賜盃第92回日本学生陸上競技対校選手権大会」（主催：日本学生陸上競技連合）で、船田茜理さん（大学院健康・スポーツ科学研究科1年）が三段跳で優勝し２連覇を果たしました。さらに三段跳では、齋藤遥さん（大学院健康・スポーツ科学研究科2年）が３位、宮繁愛葉さん（健康・スポーツ科学科2年）が６位入賞。齋藤遥さんは走幅跳でも２位となりました。また、10000m競歩では、石田さつきさん（健康・スポーツ科学科1年）が４位入賞しました。
これらの活躍で、大学別の総合順位では1983年以来、40年ぶりとなる8位入賞となりました。

Akari Funada won the triple jump for the second year in a row at the Emperor's Cup 92nd Japan Student Track and Field Championships, and the track and field team also placed in the overall for the first time in 40 years.
Akari Funada, a first-year student at the Graduate School of Health and Sport Sciences, won the triple jump event for the second year in a row at the 92nd Japan Student Track and Field Championships (sponsored by the Japan Student Athletic Union) held at the Kumagaya Sports Culture Park Track and Field Stadium in Saitama Prefecture from September 14th to 17th. In addition, Haruka Saito (2nd year, Graduate School of Health and Sport Sciences) and Aiha Miyashige (2nd year, Graduate School of Health and Sport Sciences) placed 3rd and 6th, respectively, in the triple jump. Haruka Saito also placed 2nd in the long jump. In the 10,000m walk, Satsuki Ishida (1st year, Health and Sports Science) placed 4th.
The accomplishments above led to an 8th place finish in the overall standings by university for the first time in 40 years, since 1983.
