第74回毎日書道展で除本真理さん（文学部日本語日本文学科３年）が、U23新鋭賞を受賞しました。毎日書道展は国内最大規模の公募書展です。除本さんは書道部に所属し、昨年度も新鋭賞を受賞しており、２年連続の受賞となりました。
除本さんの作品は、8月16日から20日まで関西展会場の京都市京セラ美術館、みやこめっせに展示されました。
Mari Yukimoto of the Faculty of Letters won the U23 Excellence Award at the 74th Mainichi Calligraphy Exhibition.
Ms. Mari Yokemoto (3rd year of Japanese Language and Literature, Faculty of Letters) won the U23 Newcomer Award at the 74th Mainichi Calligraphy Exhibition. The Mainichi Calligraphy Exhibition is the largest public calligraphy exhibition in Japan. Ms. Yokimoto is a member of the Calligraphy Club and won the Newcomer's Prize last year as well, making this her second consecutive year to win the prize.
Her work was displayed at the Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art and Miyako Messe, the venue of the Kansai Exhibition, from August 16 to 20.
