附属総合ミュージアムで学生たちによる展覧会準備が進行中。むこじょTV＃１８で紹介します。

附属総合ミュージアムで、博物館学芸員課程を履修する学生たちが博物館実習の一環で展覧会準備に取り組んでいます。博物館学芸員課程は日本語日本文学科をはじめ、複数の学科で履修可能。必要科目を受講し、卒業までに単位をそろえれば博物館学芸員の資格を得ることができます。

 

履修者は博物館概論や博物館展示論など座学を中心に学び、学外の博物館と附属総合ミュージアムで博物館実習を行います。自前の展示場と資料を使って企画・実施する展覧会はミュージアムを持つ本学ならではのカリキュラムです。

 

2023年度に博物館実習を受講する学生は26人。このうち13人がミュージアムでの展示を進めており、残る13人は科学館を想定し、プラネタリウムの制作に挑んでいます。展示は来年1月の予定です。

 

ミュージアムでの展示を選んだ学生たちは、ミュージアムが所蔵する着物や生活資料約６万点から、興味のある資料を選び、統一テーマとして「昭和の家族の春夏秋冬」を設定。11月初めに、保管庫となっている芸術館に行き、ひな人形や扇風機、羽子板など保有する資料を並べ、展示に耐えうるか、チェックしました。

 

むこじょTV＃１８では、この芸術館での選定作業に密着。学生の一人で日本語日本文学科3年の井河桃子さんが案内人となって、古い民具を扱う魅力を伝えます。

 

井河さんは近代文学のゼミに所属しており、現在は森鴎外の読解に取り組んでいます。文学に登場する明治から昭和初期の民具をミュージアムで実際に所蔵していることも多いことから、実物に触れ、学びを立体化させる効果も期待できます。

 

今後は会場の構成や資料の撮影、チラシや図録作りなどを分担しながら準備を進め、1月に展覧会を実施する予定です。

 

むこじょTV＃１８「実物で知る歴史の息遣い。大学にミュージアムがある幸運」は12月4日月曜午後5時30分ごろ、朝日放送テレビ（６チャンネル）で放送します。

 

Preparations for an exhibition by students are underway at the Mukojo Museum. It will be introduced on Mukojo TV #18.

 

Students taking the museum curatorial course are preparing for an exhibition as part of their practical training at the University Museum. The museum curatorial course is available to students in several departments, including the Department of Japanese Language and Literature. Students can qualify as museum curators by taking the required courses and earning enough credits to graduate.

Students take classroom-based courses such as Introduction to Museums and Museum Exhibition Theory, and then participate in practical museum training at an off-campus museum as well as the University Museum. Exhibitions are planned and held using the university's own exhibition space and materials, a curriculum that is unique to the university, which has its own museum.

 Twenty-six students will participate in the museum training program in FY2023. Thirteen of them are currently working on exhibitions at the museum, and the remaining thirteen are working on the creation of a planetarium for a science museum.

Mukojo TV #18 closely follows the selection process at the museum. One of the students, Momoko Ikawa, a third-year student in the Department of Japanese Language and Literature, acted as a guide to show the attraction of handling old folk tools.
